Yona & Sadar were first married in Indonisia where they first met. They then decided to have a wedding reception in Toronto for their family and friends who were unable to attend. They wanted their Toronto wedding to reflect their Indonesian wedding and found the perfect venue, C Lounge. It was a tropical oasis in the city where they combined Sadar’s Indonesian roots with Yona’s Jewish heritage. The event featured an Indonesian band, decor and food plus many of the Jewish traditions including the 8 blessings during the ceremony, breaking of the glass, the beautiful chuppah they were married under and not to forget all of the dancing! One of the most special features was all of the photos that were all over the venue from Yona and Sadar’s Indonesian wedding. It was a special treat for guests to be able to view and experience the wedding they were unable to attend.
It truly was an unforgettable evening for all in attendance. Most of the time you really did forget that you were in the city at all.
